With a long history and passion for music it was seven years ago TroJah of Newark, NJ found her voice within the plus community as a resource, motivator, and socialite. As the Founder & CEO of her community organization Elite Plus Inc. TroJah has been afforded numerous opportunities to work with and form solid relationships with some of the industry’s trail blazers. Her organization’s mission is to provide a platform for women of all ages who struggle with the concepts of self love, positive body image, and the true meaning of beauty while promoting service & sisterhood. Fueled by her Passion for Plus™ TroJah was compelled to write a book titled “My FAT is NOT a Flaw” employing women to have confidence in their curves while discussing the common use and misuse of the term “fat” and exposing misconceptions about the fuller figured woman. As a result of the book’s success she went on a national book tour. Since launching her book she has expanded her writing skills currently serving as the Tri-State Correspondent for POSE Magazine (the #1 PLUS Lifestyle magazine). She’s facilitated a number of workshops at major events within the plus community such as Curves Rock Fashion Weekend in Baltimore, LS1426 Empowerment Cruise in the Bahamas, Dangerous Curves Ahead in Chicago, and Fashionlink VI Fashion Weekend in St. Croix, Virgin Islands. TroJah is a Master Intermediary™ using her network and connections to help women discover and embrace their dreams, feel good and look great all while bringing to the forefront her writing, publishing, and public speaking skills. She now has four entities under her company TROJAH BRANDS LLC that includes the community organization, a publishing company, and a travel agency and blog catering to the plus community! As she continues to live her passion to empower women of size she catapults forward developing new skills, cultivating new business partnerships, balancing life as a devoted wife, mother of two boys, full time entrepreneur and college graduate, while inevitably inspiring all women.
